LAKE FOREST / LAKE BLUFF RUNNING CLUB
July Update
Coming Event:
Friday, July 15, 6PM. Our annual summer party hosted by Barry and Karin Seiller at their home in Lake Forest, 881 N. Sheridan Rd. It’s at the corner of Sheridan and Westminster. Please park west of Sheridan, on the north side of Westminster.
The club will provide grilled burgers, brats and chicken, as well as soft drinks. Please bring a dish or dessert to pass, and any other beverage you prefer.

RUNNER OF THE MONTH
The Club Runner of the Month for June is STEVE WEINSTOCK.
Steve has become our premier ultra distance runner. He recently completed a 100K (62 mile) run in Wisconsin. Steve confessed to Bill Bracken that he was "out of gas," but he will be ready for a 100 miler soon. Congratulations, Steve.
UPCOMING RACES
It's the summer doldrums, so not much in races this time of the year. Except:
Highwood Festival Days 5K
Sunday, July 17th 8:00 a.m.
This is a fun, well run race just to the south of Lake Forest in Highwood. Race directors Bill and Judy Lolli are long time LFLB Club members. Entry fee until 7/16/05 is just $13.00. Pick up an application at the train station.

Last but not least, congratulations to Jack Zordan and Melissa Nides on their marriage. They finally ‘crossed the finish line’ on June 26 at Old School Forest Preserve.
