Hopefully we've all been nice (and not naughty), and Santa Claus will be joining us to trim the tree and sing a few carols before we run back to the train station for goodies. Join hosts Jack and Melissa and Bill and Kathy for a 2-Year Anniversary Celebration of their weddings, on Sunday morning June 24. Plan to run, walk, bike or roller blade at 8:00 am, and then join the happy couples for food and beverage at the Old School Forest Preserve Shelter A at 9:30 am. If you can't make it to the 8:00 am run, just come to the fun at 9:30 am.

Join us for the Second Annual LFLB Family Track Meet on Friday, June 22. Invite your friends and families to join us for a fun track meet for kids of all ages. We guarantee there will be events yet to be seen on the Wide World of Sports! Fun is the aim of the game!! The track is first rate, and there is a small shelter with picnic tables. Enter off of Route 60 going north on Academy Drive. Follow that around to the Academy, then turn right at the stop sign with the Academy ahead of you and go straight north about 1/2 mile. We'll run the normal 10K route, starting at the downtown train station, heading east to the beach, up the hill and south through local streets, then West to Barrat College. From there, we'll catch the bike patch (parallel to train tracks) and head back north to the train station. Be sure to hang out with fellow club members for bagels and coffee!
