GLASA's 3rd Annual 5K Twilight Run/Walk/Roll & Post-race Party Saturday September 11, 2010 at 6pm

Everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in athletic and recreational programs, regardless of ability. Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA), is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the physical and mental well-being of youth and adults who have a physical or visual impairment. GLASA provides a year-round continuum of daily sports and wellness programs, including injured military camps, educational clinics, equipment lending, instructional programs, peer mentoring and special events. Please join us on the evening of September 11 to Run, Walk or Wheel on the scenic 5K course through the streets of Lake Forest. The Twilight Run features the largest contingency of runners who have a physical or visual impairment, divisions for runners, manual wheelchairs, track chairs and handcycles, and awards by division and age categories. Stay for the post-race party featuring live music by the local band 341, great food, and cool beverages for the whole family - fresh barrel root beer provided by Sprecher and Flatlander micro-brew beer. All proceeds benefit GLASA.
