Bring family and friends for the second annual LEAD RED RIBBON RACE on Sunday, November 1, 2009. Run a 5k or enjoy a 2 mile walk (dogs, tricycles & strollers welcome on the walk) through the beautiful Middle Fork Savannah Forest Preserve. Race starts at 9:00 AM and walk starts at 9:10 AM at Elawa Farms located at 1401 Middle Fork Road in Lake Forest (please leave enough time for shuttle to the race). Enjoy post race food by Whole Foods & music by Chicago 100.3 FM Radio. All registered guests will receive a shirt & goody bag. Pre-Registration is $25 for 5K and $10 for Family Walk. Children 5 and under are free. All proceeds to benefit LEAD, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting strong families and healthy youth.
