Walk, Run, or Wheel at GLASA's Second Annual 5K Twilight Run and Post Race Party on September 12, 2009 beginning and ending at the Gorton Center in Lake Forest. The race start will be at 6 pm, followed by the post race party featuring live music, raffle, food and drink, from 7 to 10 pm.Run through the tree-lined streets of Lake Forest with your family, as a part of a team, or as an individual runner in this CARA certified event. Awards will be given by age groups and for teams. This is a great opportunity to connect with other runners in Northern Illinois, and to encourage your budding runners to have fun close to home, while supporting a great cause!

The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) is a local, Lake Forest based charity whose mission is "Let No One Sit on the Sidelines." We provide recreational, competitive and integrative sports opportunities to youth and adults who have a primary physical or visual impairment. Our athletes live in Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan. We look forward to seeing you on September 12th!
