First run of 2008!
JANUARY 1 RUN
Please join fellow runners at 8:30 AM on New Year's Day for the first run of the year at Equestrian Connection Stables, 600 North Bradley Rd, Lake Forest, IL. From Route 60 go north on Bradley Rd. Look for a huge barn on the west side of Bradley, just a little north of CDW. From there we will run north on the DPR trail to Old School, do a clockwise loop and return for hot chocolate, coffee, gatorade and more if I can get it.
There are warm bathrooms too! Park by the west entrance to the barn.
It's free of course.....
P.S. There's also possible cross-country skiing in the area, so bring your skis if you'd like to try it after or instead of the run.
