DON'T FORGET THESE TWO EVENTS COMING UP THIS WEEKEND!!
Running Club Track Meet - Friday evening, June 22. Meet at 6PM on the track at Lake Forest Academy for our annual family track night. There will be fun activities for all ages! The Academy is located off Route 60, just west of Waukegan Rd.
Anniversary Run and Breakfast - Jack and Melissa and Bill and Kathy invite all club members to a celebration of their wedding anniversaries on Sunday morning, June 24, at Old School Forest Preserve, Shelter A. Walk, run, or do your own thing starting around 8AM, followed by breakfast at 9:30.

The article focuses on Laura's return to competitive running after taking 8 years off, and mentions her recent winning time of 1:05:08 time at the Park Forest Scenic 10 Mile race.

RUNNER OF THE MONTH:
Runnerof the Month for May is Suzannah Kal. Suzannah, the daughter of Jeanne Lapp, had a terrific season of running in the sixth grade. She won her age group in the Wrigleyville 10K, and does a 6:25 mile, her mother says. We hope Suzannah keeps up her running interests. She is sure to be a star in the future. Congratulations !
