Coming Event:
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 11. The annual Pizza Party / Fashion Show will be held at Lamb's farm beginning at 6PM. Enjoy pizza, pasta, salad and desserts, while checking out retro running fashions as well as the latest in active wear.

Chilly Chili:
Congratulations to the winners of the Chilly Chili contest. Sarah Conway took home the award for best chili this year, while Lesley Miller won the prize for hottest chili. Watch for these ladies' chili recipes in an upcoming issue of Footprints.
Equestrian Connection:
The Equestrian Connection Races will be held on Saturday, April 28, starting in Independence Grove. Get registration information at the train station, or online at www.active.com. There is a race distance for everyone, and these races benefit the Equestrian Connection Therapeutic Riding Center in Lake Forest.
Science Lecture:
Ed Packel, Volwiler Professor of Mathematics at Lake Forest College, has provided this information on the 21st annual Volwiler Distinguished Scientist Lecture. No doubt runners will find some beneficial tidbits here.

Susan Lindquist is a former director of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and is a professor of biology at MIT. Her internationally acclaimed research on protein folding is relevant to evolution, neurological diseases, cancer, and surprisingly, nanotechnology.
Her talk will be directed to the scientifically interested public. Please encourage your students, friends and colleagues to attend.
